anyway, banning games just makes people download em. it really isn't a solution. unless you ban internet alltogether.

kids that go nuts with guns , shoot cops and steal policecars are not an argument against games but against guns. but do i hear mister thompson complain about guns??? hell no , of course not. he has his house full of the wretched things.

on another note, those kids are unstable to begin with. you could ban games, yes. but then they will snap later with whats on TV. its not solving the problem, its postponing it.

sure. ban games, but then you have to ban guns and tv and internet too.

thompson is just an old git who doesn't know what the hell he is talking about and has a sick longing to whine the crap out of the world.

Politicians made San Andreas A/O. Kids just downloaded it.

Point is, you can stop people from doing what they want.

first and only time i will say this

people act like they do from the way they were raised as a child, there are few exceptions as in anything.

if this senator/llawyer really wants to help get rid of this, he will try to take the bottom of the tower, and not try to knock off the top

the bottom however is the strongest block, and he would never take a whack at that

Anyone mentally deficient enough to use their email address as a username on a public forum will never be taken seriously by one such as myself. It screams droid. I mean really.

As for the "what would happen if they take our toys away" comment, I agree, and I also disagree.

You see, what this senator who "bought his way into a job I am sure" fails to realize is, violence is a core aspect of human behavior. In the past, when there was no violent gaming, or movies, or music, people raped, killed, and tormented one another because it was raining outside on a bad seasonal day, or because they wanted their chickens. Violence is almost a bastard cousin of society, and taking away a distraction from it, in any way, only opens the gate for more violence to seep in.

The only way to remove or lessen violence in people of any gender/age bracket, is mass extinction, and I will not have my way, so screw all that.
